Sabarmati Ashram

Sabarmati Ashram is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, adjoining the Ashram Road, on the banks of the River Sabarmati, 4 miles from the town hall. This was one of the many residences of Mahatma Gandhi who lived at Sabarmati and Sevagram when he was not travelling across India or in prison.

Atal Pedestrian Bridge

Atal Pedestrian Bridge is a pedestrian triangular truss bridge at Sabarmati Riverfront on Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It has a design inspired by kites. Inaugurated in 2022, it is 300 metres long and 10 metres to 14 metres wide.

Statue of Unity

The statue of unity was built in homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It is the tallest monument in the world. This monument is divided into five zones, of which only three are accessible to common crowds. These three zones include a memorial garden, a museum and a view of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel dam. This 182 m high statue is one of the most recent integrations that was surprisingly built in just 46 months.

Sidi Saiyyed Mosque

The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, popularly known locally as Sidi Saiyyid ni Jali, is a Sunni mosque, located in Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat, India. The mosque was built by Sidi Sayyad, a Habshi nobleman, in AH 980. The structure is a Monument of National Importance.

Sabarmati Riverfront

Dada Hari ni Vav

This is one of the ancient step wells in Ahmedabad, built during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Begada. Dada Hari ni Vav has seven storeys decorated with intricately carved walls and pillars. Historians have stated it is an example of a Hindu-Muslim architectural marvel.

Kankaria Lake

Kankaria lake is the largest waterbody in the city. Interestingly, when this lake was built in the fifteenth century, the makers included an auto water purification system here. Bhadra Fort

Ahmed Shah built this fort in 1411 AD. This place got its name because of its proximity to the Bhadrakali temple. The Britishers turned this fort into a prison, and in 2014 ASI recently renovated this place and encouraged tourism.
